Houston is just completing his eighth full season of racing. From 2001 to the present he has been pursuing his dream of racing while striving to maintain a high standard in the classroom.  He is devoted to helping others and has recently become a supporter of Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.  He will be donating a portion of his winnings and working to raise money for this notable charity throughout this racing season.

Houston is a member of Team Full Throttle, a NASCAR based driver development program in Charlotte, NC.   He is currently racing an INEX Legends car,, and he has his eye set on moving into Late Models in anticipation of a future career in NASCAR under Team Full Throttle's direction.
